racing season on Saturday, February 1 at Boyd's Speedway
in Ringgold, Georgia! The 12th Annual 'Cabin Fever
Shakedown' will take place at the Chattanooga-area
venue and a $1,500 winner's check will be on the line

that they will race on Saturday, February 15 at 411
Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee, as they will
gun for the $2,000 top prize in the annual 'Sweetheart'

Racing Wraps Up 2019 Season in Hangover
29, 2019) The 2019 campaign for the #32 team
concluded on December 27-28 in the 10th edition of the
'Hangover' at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee.
Both Crate Late Model shows drew an impressive field
of drivers from across the region. On Friday in the
$1,000 to win weekend lid lifter, William Blankenship
timed in seventh quickest overall during qualifying
before battling brake bias issues during the feature,
which led to him slipping back to eleventh in the final

clicked off the eleventh quickest lap during time trials
and later worked his way past a trio of competitors

Knocks Down Top Ten in First Visit to The Gap!
8, 2019) William Blankenship Racing made their
first visit to the high-banks of Volunteer Speedway in
Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Saturday afternoon, December 7.
The Crate Late Model portion of the 'Grinch at the Gap'
paid $1,500 to the winner and drew a strong 21 car field.
William Blankenship toured the oval seventeenth fastest
during the qualifying session to lock himself into the
inside of the ninth row for the start of the headliner.
The McMinnville, Tennessee ace then moved up seven spots
during the course of the caution-plagued contest to claim
a tenth place performance at "The Gap." Full

Back in Crate Late Model in Gobbler
17, 2019) For the first time in over a month, William
Blankenship was back behind the wheel of his Crate Late
Model on Saturday, November 16 at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold,
Georgia. The 'Gobbler' drew a strong field of competitors
at the Chattanooga-area facility to vie for the $1,200 paycheck.
William knocked down the twenty-fourth fastest lap during
the qualifying session and later placed fifth in his B-Main.
After rolling off from the outside of the twelfth row in
the Crate headliner, William moved all the way up to twelfth
in the running order before the bolt that holds the breather
on the carburetor broke off, which forced the McMinnville,
Tennessee ace to retire in the sixteenth position. Full

(October 20, 2019) In what will be the final
Burris Nationals Go-Kart race ever held at the historic Dumplin
Valley Raceway in Kodak, Tennessee on Saturday, October 19,
a strong field of 60 karts were on hand for qualifying in
the 375 money race. While William Blankenship was unable to
qualify directly into the feature field through time trials,
he was able to blast past eight competitors during his consolation
event to grab the fifth and final transfer position. Starting
dead last in the 30 kart field, William carved through the
pack in the 20-lap race to secure a solid eighth place effort
in the 'Burris Fall Nationals' aboard the Smartt Farms #31
Phantom Recon Chassis.
Night at 411 Unfortunately a Short One...
13, 2019) The #32 team was back in Crate Late Model
competition on Saturday night, October 12 at 411 Motor Speedway
in Seymour, Tennessee. Unfortunately, William Blankenship's
evening was a short one, as he hit the outside retaining wall
hard during the qualifying session. Due to the damage inflicted
to his Victory Race Car by Billy Moyer, William was forced to
scratch from the remainder of the weekly program and will probably
sit out the next several weeks until repairs are made to his

Sixth at Crossville; Seventh in Go-Kart Return
(September 22, 2019) William Blankenship, of
McMinnville, Tennessee, pulled double duty over the September
20-21 weekend and things kicked off on Friday night in a Crate
Late Model at Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee. William
laid down the eighth quickest lap overall during the qualifying
session before driving up to sixth in the weekly main event. He
then returned to his roots on Saturday evening by competing in
the inaugural 'Burris Bash' for Go-Karts at Boyd's Speedway in
Ringgold, Georgia. William qualified twelfth quickest out of 20
karts in his division and steered to a seventh place showing in

14, 2019) William Blankenship Racing rolled back to Crossville
Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee on Friday evening, September 13
for another weekly Crate Late Model showdown. William Blankenship
started the night by laying down the fifth quickest time of the
14 competitors during the qualifying session. After rolling off
from the inside of the third row in the 25-lap headliner, William
wound up finishing inside of the top five in the fifth position
behind only victor Trent Mullinax, Floyd Turner, Deke Waters, and

area at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on Saturday
night, August 24 to compete in a weekly Crate Late Model program.
William Blankenship laid down the seventh quickest lap overall during
the qualifying session to earn the rights to the inside of the fourth
row for the start of the main event. William then steered his #32
mount past four competitors during the headliner to land on the

18, 2019) The #32 team rolled into Duck River Raceway Park
in Wheel, Tennessee on Saturday evening, August 17, as the Durrence
Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series presided over a $2,500 to
win Crate Late Model special event. William Blankenship, fresh off
capturing his first win of 2019 last weekend, timed in fourteenth
fastest in Group A during qualifying prior to placing ninth in his
consolation race. Unfortunately, that finish was two spots out of
a coveted transfer position into the 50-lap main event that was

11, 2019) A night after being paid for a twenty-second
place effort in a $2,000 to win American Crate All-Star Series tilt
at Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee due to a rock creating
a hole in his radiator, William Blankenship bounced back in a big
way on Saturday night, August 10 by picking up his first feature
win of 2019 at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia! William laid
down the quickest lap overall during the qualifying session to land
on the pole of the 25-lap weekly main event. The McMinnville, Tennessee
native then led from flag-to-flag in the headliner to pocket the

4, 2019) McMinnville, Tennessee ace William Blankenship
competed in one lone event over the weekend, as his #32 team invaded
Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Saturday evening, August
3 for the track's final point battle. William laid down the third
quickest time during qualifying to lock himself into the inside
of the second row for the start of the A-Main. William then brought
home a solid top five finish in the point finale, as he crossed
underneath the checkers in the fourth finishing position behind
only victor Ethan Hunter, Colby Kilgore, and Bryan Pritchard. He
wound up placing third in the final point standings for the Crate
