Blankenship Hangs on for Top Ten Duck River Showing
(June 15, 2019) William Blankenship, of McMinnville, Tennessee, invaded Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on Friday night, June 14 for a $1,000 to win Crate Late Model program. William posted the tenth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session, which locked him into the outside of the fifth row for the start of the main event. Despite suffering a broken left front upper a-arm early in the feature distance, William was able to wheel his #32 machine to a tenth place outing. Due to the left front suspension problems and the unavailability of the part on short notice, the #32 team was unable to enter the $1,000 to win Crate program held tonight at Duck River.
