(October 13, 2019) The #32 team was back in Crate Late Model competition on Saturday night, October 12 at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee. Unfortunately, William Blankenship's evening was a short one, as he hit the outside retaining wall hard during the qualifying session. Due to the damage inflicted to his Victory Race Car by Billy Moyer, William was forced to scratch from the remainder of the weekly program and will probably sit out the next several weeks until repairs are made to his Crate ride. William Blankenship Sixth at Crossville; Seventh in Go-Kart Return
(September 22, 2019) William Blankenship, of McMinnville, Tennessee, pulled double duty over the September 20-21 weekend and things kicked off on Friday night in a Crate Late Model at Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee. William laid down the eighth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session before driving up to sixth in the weekly main event. He then returned to his roots on Saturday evening by competing in the inaugural 'Burris Bash' for Go-Karts at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia. William qualified twelfth quickest out of 20 karts in his division and steered to a seventh place showing in his headliner. Blankenship Nabs Top Five Friday at Crossville Speedway!
(September 14, 2019) William Blankenship Racing rolled back to Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee on Friday evening, September 13 for another weekly Crate Late Model showdown. William Blankenship started the night by laying down the fifth quickest time of the 14 competitors during the qualifying session. After rolling off from the inside of the third row in the 25-lap headliner, William wound up finishing inside of the top five in the fifth position behind only victor Trent Mullinax, Floyd Turner, Deke Waters, and Josh Walker! (September 8, 2019) The #32 team made their way to 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee on Saturday evening, September 7 for a weekly Crate Late Model battle. William Blankenship stopped the clock ninth fastest overall during the time trial session to land the inside of the fifth row for the start of the main event. The McMinnville, Tennessee ace then moved past a pair of competitors during the feature distance to leave the Volunteer State oval with a solid seventh place showing. (August 25, 2019) William Blankenship Racing was back in the pit area at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on Saturday night, August 24 to compete in a weekly Crate Late Model program. William Blankenship laid down the seventh quickest lap overall during the qualifying session to earn the rights to the inside of the fourth row for the start of the main event. William then steered his #32 mount past four competitors during the headliner to land on the podium in the third finishing position. William Blankenship Narrowly Misses Out on Duck River Special
(August 18, 2019) The #32 team rolled into Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on Saturday evening, August 17, as the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series presided over a $2,500 to win Crate Late Model special event. William Blankenship, fresh off capturing his first win of 2019 last weekend, timed in fourteenth fastest in Group A during qualifying prior to placing ninth in his consolation race. Unfortunately, that finish was two spots out of a coveted transfer position into the 50-lap main event that was ultimately won by Brandon Williams. Blankenship Bags First Feature Win of 2019 Racing Season!!!
(August 11, 2019) A night after being paid for a twenty-second place effort in a $2,000 to win American Crate All-Star Series tilt at Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee due to a rock creating a hole in his radiator, William Blankenship bounced back in a big way on Saturday night, August 10 by picking up his first feature win of 2019 at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia! William laid down the quickest lap overall during the qualifying session to land on the pole of the 25-lap weekly main event. The McMinnville, Tennessee native then led from flag-to-flag in the headliner to pocket the $600 windfall in dominant fashion ahead of Justin Cameron, Josh Walker, Sylvan Schuette, and AJ Carlisi! (August 4, 2019) McMinnville, Tennessee ace William Blankenship competed in one lone event over the weekend, as his #32 team invaded Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Saturday evening, August 3 for the track's final point battle. William laid down the third quickest time during qualifying to lock himself into the inside of the second row for the start of the A-Main. William then brought home a solid top five finish in the point finale, as he crossed underneath the checkers in the fourth finishing position behind only victor Ethan Hunter, Colby Kilgore, and Bryan Pritchard. Blankenship Earns Pair of Top Tens at Crossville and Boyd's
(July 28, 2019) William Blankenship unloaded his #32 Crate Late Model in a pair of special events from July 25-27 in Tennessee and Georgia. On Thursday night at Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee, William knocked down the sixth fastest lap overall during qualifying, but his right rear tire was going flat late in the $853 to win main event and the McMinnville, Tennessee ace slipped back to an eighth place showing in the 25-lapper. At Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Saturday evening, William stopped the clock fifth quickest in time trials, moved up to fourth in the running order of the $1,000 to win feature event, and eventually wound up sixth in the final rundown at the Chattanooga-area oval. He finds himself third in the latest version of the Boyd's point standings heading into next week's point finale!!! William Blankenship, who was making his first visit of the season to the Volunteer State oval, timed in thirteenth fastest overall during the qualifying session. After starting the 25-lap headliner from the inside of the seventh row, William climbed up inside of the top ten in the rough-and-tumble race before pulling off the track, which dropped the McMinnville, Tennessee youngster to a fourteenth place showing. Blankenship Shows Speed in $3,000 J. Paul Smith Memorial
(July 6, 2019) William Blankenship and his #32 team ventured back to Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee on Friday evening, July 5 for the 2nd edition of the 'J. Paul Smith Memorial.' The Crate Late Model special drew a stout field of competitors - all of whom were gunning for the $3,000 top prize. After timing in tenth quickest overall during the qualifying session, William ran second in heat race action. The McMinnville, Tennessee ace was then hovering around the top ten and was looking for a solid finish in the special event before he was hit from behind and turned into the wall. Damage to his #32 mount kept William from continuing and he was forced to settle for a twentieth place effort. (June 30, 2019) The William Blankenship Racing team roared into Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee and Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia over the June 28-29 weekend for a pair of weekly Crate Late Model showdowns. On Friday night at Crossville, William Blankenship timed in eighth fastest overall during the qualifying session prior to blasting up inside of the top five during the main event - only to wind up sixth in the final finishing order. At Boyd's on Saturday evening, William clicked off the tenth quickest time during qualifying and later moved up one spot during the headliner on his way to a ninth place showing. Blankenship Hangs on for Top Ten Duck River Showing
(June 15, 2019) William Blankenship, of McMinnville, Tennessee, invaded Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on Friday night, June 14 for a $1,000 to win Crate Late Model program. William posted the tenth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session, which locked him into the outside of the fifth row for the start of the main event. Despite suffering a broken left front upper a-arm early in the feature distance, William was able to wheel his #32 machine to a tenth place outing. Due to the left front suspension problems and the unavailability of the part on short notice, the #32 team was unable to enter the $1,000 to win Crate program held tonight at Duck River.
