in an American All-Stars Series doubleheader on May 5-6 in their
home state of Tennessee. Following a rain-out on Friday night at
Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, a $2,500 first place
prize was up for grabs on Saturday evening at Wartburg Speedway
in Wartburg, Tennessee. William Blankenship laid down the twenty-first
quickest time overall during qualifying prior to finishing fifth

Blankenship Back in Action
in American All-Stars Doubleheader
(April
23, 2023) William Blankenship Racing returned to competition
- following a long layoff - on April 21-22 in the states of North
Carolina and Georgia. In the $2,500 to win 'Vol-Heel Spring Shootout'
at Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina on Friday
night, William Blankenship fought ignition problems early in the
evening, timed in sixteenth fastest in American All-Stars Series
qualifying, and later placed seventeenth in the final rundown of
the 40-lap feature.
At North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia on
Saturday evening, William stopped the clock seventeenth quickest
in American All-Stars Series time trials before running fourth in
his heat race. Struggling with the new tire compounds, the McMinnville,
Tennessee ace soldiered onto a fourteenth place showing in the $3,000

place yesterday at the Chattanooga-area oval and a $1,500 winner's

session, which locked him into the outside of the front row for
the 25-lap main event. After grabbing the top spot at the drop of
the green flag and pacing the field for the first eight or nine
circuits, William eventually settled for a strong runner-up performance

Blankenship Earns Fast
Time Honors in Season-Ending Gobbler

20, 2022) The William Blankenship Racing team rolled into
Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia on Saturday, November 19 for
the 34th edition of the 'Gobbler,' which closed out their 2022 campaign.
A $2,000 payday was up for grabs for the cars and stars competing
in the 604 Crate Late Model division. William Blankenship laid down
the quickest lap of the 29 entrants during the qualifying session
to earn Fast Time honors and the pole position for the 25-lap main
event. William unfortunately battled a tight racecar and could not
rotate through the corners as desired in the headliner and ultimately
slipped back to fourth at the checkers to trail only victor Cory

29, 2022) William Blankenship and his #32 team were back
in the pit area at Boyd's Speedway on Friday night, October 28,
as the Ringgold, Georgia facility paid out a $1,000 top prize for
the 604 Crate Late Model division. William knocked down the third
quickest lap overall during the qualifying session to earn the inside
of the second row for the start of the 20-lapper. The McMinnville,
Tennessee youngster was then racing hard for the second spot when
a tangle unfortunately sent him to the back of the pack. William
was then forced to rally through the field to salvage a hard-fought

invaded Thunderhill Raceway Park on Saturday night, September 17.
The Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned the running
of the 'King of the Hill' and a $5,011 payday was up for grabs.

Early at Beckley; Sees Rain at Wythe...
(September
5, 2022) The William Blankenship Racing team headed to
the states of West Virginia and Virginia on September 3-4 for a
pair of $10,000 to win American Pro Late Model All-Star Series spectaculars.
On Saturday night at Beckley Motor Speedway in Mount Hope, West
Virginia, William Blankenship drew a poor number for qualifying
and later ran eighth in his loaded heat race.
Following a twelfth place finish in his B-Main, William
relied on a series provisional to gain access into the A-Main. Unfortunately,
the track turned one lane and William pulled off the racing surface
early in the contest and was ultimately paid for a twenty-fourth
place performance. Sunday's $10,000 to win show at Wythe Raceway

secured his second feature win of the 2022 campaign and was crowned

View Raceway in Spring City, Tennessee! William clicked off the

position. William then took command at the drop of the green flag

William Blankenship Racing in Volunteer State
(August
14, 2022) Following a couple of weeks away from the racetrack
due to inclement weather, William Blankenship and his #32 team struck
out to a pair of Volunteer State ovals over the August 12-13 weekend.
The American Crate All-Star Series sanctioned a pair of $2,500 to
win throwdowns at both Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee
and at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee.
On Friday night at Crossville, William stopped the
clock eleventh quickest during the qualifying session, but later
rebounded to win his heat race. Despite suffering from a j-bar issue
during the A-Main, William was still able to hang around the top
ten to ultimately finish ninth in the final rundown. At I-75 Raceway
on Saturday evening, William laid down the fifth fastest lap overall
during time trials prior to finishing fourth in the dash, which
earned him the rights to the outside of the second row for the feature.
The McMinnville, Tennessee youngster, who recently started his college
experience, was up to the second spot and looking for more when
he was spun by another competitor and collected in an incident.

(July 17, 2022) The #32 team traveled to Crossville
Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee and 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour,
Tennessee over the July 15-16 weekend. On Friday night in a weekly
604 Crate Late Model show at Crossville, William Blankenship stopped
the clock third quickest overall during the qualifying session before
slipping to fourth in the final rundown of the A-Main. At 411 on
Saturday evening in a $1,000 to win program for the Crates, William
laid down the ninth fastest lap during time trials and ran in the

Blankenship Battles American
All-Star Foes in Doubleheader
(May
30, 2022) William Blankenship Racing battled their American
Crate All-Star Series foes in a doubleheader over the Memorial Day
holiday weekend, as they traveled to Smoky Mountain Speedway in
Maryville, Tennessee and Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia
on May 28-29. On Saturday at Smoky Mountain in a $3,000 to win throwdown,
William Blankenship timed in seventh quickest overall during qualifying
and ran second in his heat race, but was unfortunately involved
in an early incident during the 40-lap feature. He was forced to
retire with damage and was officially placed nineteenth in the final
finishing order.
At Wythe on Sunday night, a $5,000 top prize was up
for grabs in the 'Mayhem in the Mountains' grand finale. William
stopped the clock thirteenth fastest during time trials and later
advanced up to second in heat race action. The McMinnville, Tennessee
ace then started the 50-lapper from the inside of the fifth row
before winding up fourteenth at the waving of the checkered flag.

Up Two More Top Five Finishes!
(May 22, 2022) William Blankenship, of McMinnville,
Tennessee, returned to dirt-slinging competition on May 20-21 following
a couple of weekends of rainy, inclement weather. On Friday night
at Mountain Motorsports Park in Isom, Kentucky, William qualified
tenth quickest in American Crate All-Star Series time trials - despite
suffering a flat right rear tire - and later ran third in his heat
race. After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the
$3,000 to win main event, William was able to blast past seven competitors
during the 'Bluegrass Burner' to land in the fifth spot behind only
victor Jason Welshan, Hayden Cardwell, Brandon Fouts, and Jordan
Hedger.

Georgia, the #32 team vied for the $1,200 Crate Late Model top prize

in Weekend Opener at Crossville!
(April 24, 2022) William Blankenship and his #32
team made a trip to Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee
and I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee over the April 22-23 weekend.
On Friday night in a weekly Crate Late Model showdown at Crossville,
William timed in second fastest during qualifying, but was put back
a row in the feature due to a couple of botched starts with the
polesitter. He then moved back up to second and challenged for the
win on a couple of different occasions before finishing behind only
victor Matt Shannon!
At I-75 on Saturday evening, a $2,500 top prize was
up for grabs in a United Championship Racing Alliance (UCRA) program.
William stopped the clock eleventh quickest in qualifying before
placing fourth in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the
inside of the sixth row in the 40-lap headliner, the McMinnville,
Tennessee ace vaulted up to as high as third in the running order
before a bout with an infield utility tire relegated him to a disappointing

17, 2022) The William Blankenship Racing team made their
first-ever visit to Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Kentucky
on Saturday, April 16, as the American Crate All-Star Series sanctioned
the $3,000 to win 'Spring Showdown.' William Blankenship laid down
the thirteenth fastest lap overall during the qualifying session
before running third in his loaded heat race. After rolling off
from the inside of the seventh row in the 45-lap feature event,
William streaked past eight competitors during the contest to land
in the fifth finishing position. He trailed only victor Hayden Cardwell,
Steve Peeden, Zach Sise, and Henry Hornsby III at the checkers and

3, 2022) William Blankenship and his #32 team returned
to racing action in an American Crate All-Star Series doubleheader
on April 1-2 at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee. On Friday

twelfth fastest overall during the qualifying session prior to securing
an impressive heat race triumph. Unfortunately, William was caught
up in a wreck during the headliner and heavy damage to his Excel
Chassis dropped him to twenty-first in the final finishing order.
