William Blankenship Racing in Volunteer State On Friday night at Crossville, William stopped the clock eleventh quickest during the qualifying session, but later rebounded to win his heat race. Despite suffering from a j-bar issue during the A-Main, William was still able to hang around the top ten to ultimately finish ninth in the final rundown. At I-75 Raceway on Saturday evening, William laid down the fifth fastest lap overall during time trials prior to finishing fourth in the dash, which earned him the rights to the outside of the second row for the feature. The McMinnville, Tennessee youngster, who recently started his college experience, was up to the second spot and looking for more when he was spun by another competitor and collected in an incident. in an American All-Stars Series doubleheader on May 5-6 in their
home state of Tennessee. Following a rain-out on Friday night at
Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, a $2,500 first place
prize was up for grabs on Saturday evening at Wartburg Speedway
in Wartburg, Tennessee. William Blankenship laid down the twenty-first
quickest time overall during qualifying prior to finishing fifth
in his loaded heat race. Following a triumph in his B-Main, William
